Pathstone Bulks Up With Willow Street Deal

Pathstone, the family office, has combined with Willow Street, a Wyoming-based trust and fiduciary services firm, founded in 2005. The move takes Pathstone's total assets under advisement or administration to around $75 billion.
As a result of the combination, Pathstone has 16 office locations and 335 team members, of whom more than 150 are shareholders of the firm.
Holland & Hart LLP served as legal counsel to Willow Street, and Alston & Bird served as legal counsel to Pathstone. Republic Capital Group served as a strategic advisor to Pathstone.
Willow Steet's six partners will all become shareholders in Pathstone and maintain their leadership roles at Willow Street. Phillip Harrington, Jr, chairman and CEO of Willow Street, who is keeping his title, will become a member of Pathstone's executive leadership team.
Pathstone has grown by a mix of organic and inorganic growth. In March 2021, for example, it joined up with RIA firm Cornerstone Capital Group. Cornerstone has expertise in sustainable and impact investing, adding to Pathstone’s work in this area.
